Please note.
My name is Bob Martin, and I operate a family of websites and forums under the company name Armed America LLC
You may be familar with some of our sites and forums like http://Ruger22.com
http://17Caliber.com
http://RimfireForums.com
and
http://GunsAndFun.com
(also known as RimfireCentral.net not .com)
and of course our on-line store that specializes in ruger 10/22 parts at
http://CheapGunParts.com
A little while ago I aquired a new rifle (a Remington 700adl in 7mm Rem Magnum) for the purpose of shooting the 1,000 yard competition targets in the new gun club I joined.
When I got over the shock of how expensive the ammo for this rifle was (around a buck a round), I decided to try my hand at Brass Reloading.
This was to mainly save money, but as I got into it, I also discovered that the accuracy level could also be greatly advanced by reloading, even beyond factory ammo.
I also discovered that every single book, video, manual or whatever I could find on the subject, was written for people who already knew all the basics.
There was no "Reloading for dummies" books on the market.
So, I grabbed my old digital camera and set out to create this site...A place where someone totally new to reloading brass could come, and learn the basics, while also avoiding the mistakes I stumbled over while getting it right for myself.
I hope you enjoy the site and can contribute some photos of your own to it.
If you have any questions at all about something you see here, please drop me a line at ruger22@comcast.net
We do plan to sell some reloading equipment and supplies, so please keep us in mind if you need anything as something has to pay for this site to exist. When we start to offer products, it will be in a special reloading section at http://CheapGunParts.com
I would very much like to thank the guys at gunsandfun.com for kicking me in the butt to get started on this project, and the guys at accurate reloading.com (the best reloading forum area in my view) for helping me get over the newbie hurdles, and getting to the point where I knew enough about reloading to be able to write this site.
If you would like to contribute a photo or two, email them to Ruger22@comcast.net.
And join us everyday at our user forum http://gunsandfun.com
